PROJECT /
Doora is a door for kids, designed to respond to both the physical and emotional needs of a child. The door is mostly made of fabric, stretched on a thin frame, and therefore very light and safe. Instead of a lock, there is a slide window built inside the handle which allows the child to have his privacy. The slide window also indicates the status of the door: inviting or concealing. The fabric is a soft magnetic surface on which the child can place his drawings or notes. The lower half of the door is a pocket for storing or for leaving letters. Doora comes in a box, and it is assembled at home.
