Cooking pots for people. Blind and seeing alike
The project began with observing and staying with the blind. I noticed that their senses are extremely sensitive, And that touching allows them to see in a precise way. I was curious how design can be judged with eyes closed. People need aesthetics, blind and seeing alike. Set of three pots wrapped in fire resistant and insulated fabric, Allowing one to touch and hold the pot from any direction. The + -shaped bottom allows for accurate positioning of the pot on the stove, And a circular channel prevents the fire from climbing up the sides of the pot.
